GMGN Social

Privacy policy

Last updated: August 14, 2026

This page explains what GMGN Social collects and how we use it. We keep this short on purpose.

What we collect

  • Wallet address — this is how you sign in. We do not get your private keys.
  • Profile data — username, display name, bio, avatar, cover, and anything you choose to publish.
  • Content — posts, stories, messages, reactions, follows, and reports you send.
  • Technical data — IP address, device/browser info, and timestamps needed to run the site, keep you logged in, and stop abuse.

We do not ask for an email or password. If you never post, we still store the wallet you used to create the account.

How we use it

  • To operate your account, feed, chats, and notifications
  • To show public profiles and posts to other people on GMGN Social
  • To keep the service secure (spam, scams, bans)
  • To remember settings such as language and theme

We do not sell your personal information. Public posts are public — treat them that way.

Messages

Direct messages and group chats are stored so you and the other people in the thread can read them. Do not send seed phrases or recovery secrets in chat. We cannot promise that a compromised device on the other side will keep a secret.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and to remember theme and language. See the cookies policy for details.

How long we keep data

Account and public posts stay until you delete them or we close the account. Deleted content may linger in backups for a limited time. Legal holds can require us to keep records longer.

Your choices

  • Edit or delete posts and profile fields from the app.
  • Log out from any device you control.
  • Ask us to close an account if you cannot do it in settings.
